In the thread for the last comic I guessed that Raine, even though she was turning human, she might still have her Keidran ears and tail. Well, I sort of called it.

P.S. On Twitter Tom wrote "Sorry for the lateness again. Storms in Ohio knocked out power and flooded my house. ". For some reason that reminds me of that one scene from the movie ‘The Wizard of Speed and Time’.

Well when she changed into a Keidrain it started with her legs and arms, and ending with the torso and head. So when she changes back, it will go in reverse. At least that's what I presume.

Well, we can't quite see all of her torso. I'm left wondering just where the fur stops.

Tom did an amazing job in the whole "Now for the rest!" section, making her face change ever so slightly, and yet slowly transition from excitement to desperation.

Also, looking back now, the caption "Halfway there" clearly refers to Raine's transformation between Keidran and Human, but since I read the caption right after the last panel, I interpreted it as Red being "halfway there" in getting over his racism, in that he still makes a Keidran insult, but catches himself just in time. Double meaning?

Also, as for Raine being in this halfway state, I personally find her more attractive like this than in either pure human or pure keidran form. But that's just my personal taste.

Well I was kinda right about her fur being shoving out her clothing a little bit....

And while I didn't state it, I did figure this would happen.

Also.... Is it just me or does Raine look a little off in the second panel because of how long Tom's been drawing her as a wolf now?

Y'know, I think this new style of human Raine is the most anime looking character Tom has drawn to date.
If he was going for this, then... kudos I suppose?
