I don't know, a drink which can also be used as a grenade seems like a bad idea to me. But then again, we live in a world where during one of the World Wars the Germans had a grenade which needed to be primed by striking it on something, which was sometimes the Grenadier's own helmet. Or at least I think that's what it was, I think I only heard about it once.

Also, how does Evals know about this? Is this ship in danger of sinking again?

I seem to recall something of the sort, yes.

Terrible ideas that somehow make it to the field, with generally disastrous results. But still, I can't help but be amused by the notion of using rum as a grenade.

I mean like, I know Basitin are meant to be really strong and resiliant and all, but let's say you drink this rum and you fall over and you crash onto the floor and the rum inside you *explodes*... Basitin can survive this internal explosion inside their own stomachs?!

Maybe Basitin stomachs specially metabolise Basitin rum quickly and make it non-explosive soon after it is drunk.

But now that I think of it, simply storing it on the ship in the first place sounds ridiculous. What if the ship rocks violently from side to side, and the crates of Basitin rum hit a wall with some force, and explode?!
