'Cause it seems to be animated, but I can just download a still picture... :(
The way I would go about doing that would be to go download GIMP (which is free by the way), open the cover in that in that program, carefully edit each layer and then save it as a .GIF. When asked, select animation.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I will try too help.

I tried to save it as-it-is as a .gif image, selecting "animation" when prompted, but it returns an error: it can't get the color quality lower, or something like that.

I tried using the standard settings, non touching any option.

I'm sorry, I don’t know how to help you with that.

The only thing I could suggest that might work (please note that I haven’t tried this, it’s only a theory) is to sample and use only colors that are already it the picture, and use the Pencil Tool, not the Paintbrush Tool.

If that doesn’t work... well… does the translated version need to be animated?

Well, no, but it would be cool if it were...

Posted 2012-06-15:
Pity that I didn't see this earlier, I posted in the translation thread that I had made an nt PSD (photoshop) file of the animated page as a service for translators. It's not uploaded anywhere though, my web host doesn't allow me to upload files that can't be viewed directly in a browser (yes, it's a cheap service). But I can send it to whoever wants it.

Added 2012-06-21:
Tom made the latest page available as an nt version, and I've also been more active on updating my "versions" site after my translation caught up with Tom.
Sorry about my animated avatar, I couldn't resist.

Figured I'd point something out. I'm not sure if it has already been pointed out, but oh well. I freaked a little when I clicked on the OP's link for Moody's site this morning, and it 404'd. Found a working link, however. Posting for posterity.
This link is 404'd all of a sudden:
http://gladmac.se/susannes/2k/versions/

Whereas this link works:

That's because the owner of the gladmac.se domain had too many domains, and it was getting costly. Now I've got the archive under my own domain instead of borrowing hosting space from someone else. :)

It also makes it easier to find my other resources in case someone wants them, such as the thumbnail archive, http://kindamoody.com/2kthumbs/

Hello! I would like to know if there is any active archive with the speech bubbles blanked out so that I can insert the text in.

Thank you all!
