Ha! Now that's a cliffhanger. We don't know if anybody survived. Anything could have happened to them. :P Seriously, that sucker could lance the moon.

Though it looks like Tom addressed our interests in line of sight between the ship (see it there in the harbor), and the explosion. Or at least, he's thrown us more ammunition for the debate.

Beautiful work on the clouds there, Tom, I love the little streamers and tendrils at the top, and the reflection in the water in the bay between the statues is simply gorgeous.

Wow, that explosion makes me wonder if anyone will survive. Now, that I have posted this and am not being ninja'd a full post will be made.
I agree with Av, the clouds on the top of the last frame are very well done, the shadowing on that frame is very well done, and on the other frames, well I haven't really looked into detail on them quite yet, and I will probably be to lazy to post again , so... Good Job Tom on another artistically amazing comic.
Aero Blaze on Steam for the time being. Busy with college most the time.

Of course! It's "Boom" and "Whoosh" combined! Who wouldn't like two awsome sounds like that together?

Seeing as most of the energy from the explosion went straight up in that beam, I have to say that it looks good for the heroes. (I hope... )

There still is that smaller explosion at the base of the beam. She woulda got knocked back away from the scary lazer to the moon.

I never said the explosion would kill her. It would actually save her life, since that beam would definitely finish the job. :?
