So we haven't seen a scrap of the mystery newcomer yet. Judging by the expressions of the quorum members, they aren't too overjoyed, so it can't be the king or Alaric. They aren't frightened, so it can't be Keith or Alabaster. They look... bemused. I'd call bandage-cheek in panel 1 mildly curious, ...

Also, what's the deal with the tilted clouds in the background of the same panel? Have you ever looked northwest while lines of clouds are arrayed and moving east? They're not tilted, the perspective makes them look diagonal to your view. theirs a choose those two have death by the opposite sex ......
