Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 4: Signaller
Well i guess my sight is worse by the day. No matter how much i zoom i cannot read what the horn says. Yeah I think that's an issue with the down scaling. From my perspective in the raw file at glorious 4K resolution it's very clear but at 720x1280 which is what FA scales them to it is quite blurry...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 3: Marine
Part 4 of the Illustrated Guide. Today we'll be having a look at the signaller, a soldier who enables that most vital of battlefield functions: communication, and additionally serves as their unit's standard bearer. I had lots of fun with this one designing and finding symbols to use on the banner a...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 3: Marine
What i mean is that i do not like to criticize people work when specially when i have no skills in their area (drawing as in this case) of expertise. The only other type of lamellar armor i knew was the roman lorica segmentata and a wierd chinesse armor made of paper. But as you point out most peop...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 3: Marine
The marine looks a bit weird. It strikes me as simplified samurai armor for some reason. Not a critic in any way just a comment. On more curious cultural notes. The buckler and helmet remind me of spanish Rodeleros. soldier armed with short-sword and bucklers. Basically light infantry. In any case ...

lol, on Basitin Island a Carver is you! Hopefully these ladies don't take Carver's presence as a declaration of war. Sharpen the spears! Prepare the longboats! Load the coconuts! Begun the Fox wars on Fox shores have. XD Great page. Love eeeeet. Well well well, those three must be a reference to th...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 2: Halberdier
Part 3 of the Illustrated Guide. This week we have a diversion from the land-based army and will instead have a look at naval personnel: the marine. As an island people, having a strong navy is pretty important after all. You may start to notice in the coming weeks that the quality of the artwork se...

Re: Comic for April 7, 2018: Chapter 20 Epilogue
Huh, so Basitins can have black fur. Or at least western ones can. I thought all Basitins had the same color fur. We've seen quite a bit of variation in eastern basitin fur colour but nothing approaching the black shown here. As far as I'm aware, the arms general has the darkest fur we've seen up u...

The horror! At least the one on the left seems to have a tail wrap on. We'll just have to see whether any are decent enough to cover their ankles.

Re: Comic for April 7, 2018: Chapter 20 Epilogue
Well well well, those three must be a reference to these guys. The first pictures Tom ever put up on his DA. Way to make a call back to the early days there buddy. Also, they are very scantily clad for basitins, a lost colony on some other island perhaps?

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 2: Halberdier
Personally i imagined Basitin as more Holy-Roman empire with a good dose of german-militia around them. Also is the armor inspired from other source? It strucks me as familiar for some reason. I can see where you're coming from, you should hopefully like one of the pieces coming up then, I think it...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 2: Halberdier
Who would have thougth. Now i can see the image embedded. I imagine this would be similar to a Roman centurion wouldn't it? That's good to hear, I was worried that no one would be able to see them on here for some reason. Can you see the first image now? When I was thinking how the basitins would o...

Re: The Basitin Military - An Illustrated Guide
Part 2 of the Illustrated Guide! Today we will be looking at a halberdier wearing the armour pattern of a marshal. For the sake of efficiency where appropriate in these pictures you will notice the recycling of some of the line-art. This is to cut down on production time as well as giving the feelin...

Re: Hulk10's Art.
I was always a fan of dragons with separate wings, rather than those where they were a part of their front legs. Always seemed more badass to me. That keidran Trace pic is pretty good for funny interpretation, I'm not surprised you found a use for it.

He's the shape changing master spy. Last seen looking shifty as Team A was getting off the boat on page 852.Titanium Dragon wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 8:47 pm I wonder if Rose is going to show Trace what is in that room out of spite, or if she knows what's in there.
Also, which one is Sirus?
