Re: Comic for Saturday, May 6, 2018: Bedside Discussion

In reaction I see Zen playing their bond more laissez faire . Which, imo, was slowly occurring anyway with how strongly they could block each other out. The world is a harsh, but marvelous teacher. For that reason, Natani's is not worse off for being rebonded I don't think, experiences change thing...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Future Work TEASER (fixed)

A bit related to the discussion, but what if the Basitins has won? I'd think that most humans and Keidran would be subject to genocide or exiled to the far north, and Basitin settlers would replace them and their cities. This would be so, until maybe an alien race accidentally stumbles upon the Mas...

Re: Sketch of the Day

Breakroom Banter, in colour Why waste CGI for a dragon? Sort of makes you wonder how they fit Lady Nora on set at all really. I like the tasteful selection of pictures stuck to the whiteboard. Also I hereby petition a slice-of-life spin off comic set in this alternate reality where everyone's perso...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Future Work TEASER (fixed)

Part 7 of the Illustrated Guide. Today is the turn of the bombardier, or more importantly, the artillery piece he crews. This one is unique in the sense that it is the only one of these artworks that the main focus of the picture is not the basitins themselves. It's also the only piece where I used ...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Future Work TEASER (fixed)

Not enteriley sure if greatswordmen would be a good counter against lines of pikemen as it is a rather cumbersome weapon against such enemies. In any case i was gonna post a long response about how greatsowrds are not really that practical in any case as it is cumbersome, hard to wield and the mass...

i'd pay for an sfm port of that (if i had money)
Well the great thing about 3D is once you have all the models its relatively easy to do different things with them so I'm not going to rule anything out at this point.

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Future Work TEASER

image machine broke *sigh* Really, again? All of them or just the latest one? Is it fixed now? just that one. Its fixed now. Hurrah, not sure why FA does that sometimes, I guess maybe the image address changes sometimes or something. Let me know if it keeps doing it and I'll look into hosting the i...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 6: Greatsword

Eyyyyy, greatsword dudes They are pretty cool, nothing like a big sword to show you mean business on a battlefield. In the meantime, I said that once this thread hit 500 views I would give you a teaser of what's to come after the current images are completed, so here you are! Enjoy. Any problems vi...

Re: Comic for April 28, 2018

First that's a great glamour shot of Kat in the first panel (character sheet updates anyone?) and second, if Twokinds isn't technologically advanced enough to have motorboats, I wonder what that move Zen just pulled is called?

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 5: Lancer

Part 6 of the Illustrated Guide, today looking at the fearless greatsword, a warrior who strikes terror into the hearts of their foes with a combination of zeal and a massive sword. If you're starting to see a Warhammer influence on the structure of the basitin army then you'd be right, a lot of how...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 5: Lancer

the only question is where do they source their horses? Ans island like thiers can't have an ample supply of large mammals. Respect to the horse itself, her front legs seem to be pointing in different directions. I think the Basitin Islands are deceptively large. I've seen the maps on Tom's DA been...

Re: The Basitin Military: An Illustrated Guide - Part 4: Signaller

I have not much artistic skill but i do know a thing or two about perspective geometry. For the characters themselves it does not matter much as they are not very "deep" so the foreshortening is negligible. In case of any straight thing, like swords spears, reactangular shields their geom...

Will Zen and Kat finally admit their undying love!? Will young Rose call out Euchre for being kind of an [censored]!? Will the terrible trio of Maddie, Karen and Maeve finally bring about the singularity that will release us from our feeble notion of existence!? And will Princess Reni crash into ano...
