Re: Your favorite movie?

Used to be Blade Runner, but I think 2049 has overtaken it. The visuals are as amazing as ever, the worldbuilding fascinating, the plot a rollercoaster and the acting right on point. I'd also say it's pretty ponderous, and introduces a pretty important plot development way too late in the film to gi...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

Finally got around to installing Mass Effect: Andromeda, and so far I'm having a pretty good time with it. I've always had annoyances with the series, but it's holding up better than I expected. Pretty solid gameplay from what I've seen (the driving in particular being a huge improvement since ME1),...

Re: Human & Lupusad - Of Men and Wolves (Current Chapter: 33) [Mature Content]

Just a quick update; I've finished the next chapter, but my proofreader's managed to both resurface and disappear again since the last one. I'll give him a bit of time to respond, but will make alternative arrangements if I don't hear back from them. And on a side note, this thread has just surpasse...

Re: Dreams

I dreamed that Lucius Malfoy came to my house for some kind of standoff to the death. We ended up playing Act of Aggression instead. Don't ask me why. I've never played Act of Aggression or even thought about it recently, and it's been a few months since I've had anything to do with Harry Potter (I ...

Re: Murder on the Orient Express

I've not read the book either, but I'd like to check out the film when it comes out and I get a look at the early reviews. Seems to have a bit more action than I would have thought, but the style beyond that looks intriguing. That, and the story's reputation precedes it.

Re: What made you smile today? Round 2!

Went and saw Blade Runner 2049 today. The original is easily my favourite film of all time, though I wasn't expecting much out of its sequel. But good God, it holds up incredibly well in comparison. The storytelling is fantastic, the performances great and the all-important mood completely appropria...

Re: Bright

That... actually looks pretty good. I don't know if it's 100% what I'd look for in terms of a Shadowrun-esque modern fantasy (can't say I do many comedy-heavy buddy-cop movies), but it seems to have enough going for it to be worth a shot. Really like the idea of a 'diversity quota' orc police office...

Re: What made you smile today? Round 2!

The other day, I discovered that the cast of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (which, for those unfamiliar, essentially consisted of giving cheesy B-grade movies a comedic commentary of 'riffs') did a short-lived production called Cinematic Titanic, based on the same basic format as the original show. I...

*whispers* Don't forget, Jonsey, there's always an edit button! You didn't make a mistake. There's no proof! Franklyn says "Jakob is right; you’re going to run out of food sooner or later" But Jakob said that in the lupusad language: “<You can’t be growing enough food here to last forever...

Re: Human & Lupusad - Of Men and Wolves (Current Chapter: 33) [Mature Content]

What an exciting chapter :D Just one problem. Franklyn says "Jakob is right; you’re going to run out of food sooner or later" But Jakob said that in the lupusad language: “<You can’t be growing enough food here to last forever,>” Jakob replied. Typical. Spend so long on it, and the little...

Secondly, not sure where to post this so i picked here and am hoping for the best~ Generally, each comic page will get its own discussion thread. In this case, there's already one open, so that would be the place to post. https://www.twokinds.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20034 I'm sure one of ...
