Re: DoTa 2

Last TI inspired me to play loads of dota. This time though I'm sunken with the thought of allt he 5 man push strats I'm going to have to put up with in pubs :c Look at it from the bright side: it will give us plenty of opportunity to use those anti-push, team fight wombo-combo strategies we enjoy ...

Re: Would you support a geneticly made anthropomorphic anima

Hmmm... I find I have a bit of a wrinkle to smooth out here. I believe that the act of creation is done with purpose. But it is not always a purpose that extends to the creation itself. Meaning, we can create for no other reason than to prove that we can. Then what we create would be totally free o...

Re: Would you support a geneticly made anthropomorphic anima

But yeah, I disagree that existing implies a purpose. Existing necessarily does not. Being created does. Not necessarily one set by an authority you respect, but one you will have to face. This isn't targeted at you, Sithil, but I am bothered quite a lot by the argument that we shouldn't make somet...

Re: Would you support a geneticly made anthropomorphic anima

Secondly, this is only physical form we're discussing. Trait combination, engineering individual bodies with a goal in mind. This is not an afront to humanity. Humanity (and in fact all things), as I know them to be, are spiritual beings. The nature of them, their heart, does not depend on the body...

Re: Would you support a geneticly made anthropomorphic anima

To consider the project of creating life of intelligence and sentience equal to ours, yet distinctly different from us, no matter in what aspect, is to ponder the creation of a to us previously unknown existential position; one with potential for unimaginable pain. Let’s say you have the intent to c...

Re: Is the Electoral college a failure?

Yeah, the electoral college might be broken, but the real question is, what do we replace it with? After all, having one vote per person could easily have its own can of worms. I mean, just think of how stupid the average person can be at times. Now realize that, statistically, about half the US po...

Re: KoTOR II: The Sith Lords

I bought "KotOR II: The Sith Lords" now that it became avaivable on Steam, as I have always been interested in the series and, unfortunately, it turned out the first does not run on Windows 7. I am currently running through my first character, and I absolutely love this game thus far; the ...

Probably same time next year, as was the case with this one. "November Writing Competition 2012" I wager its name shall be, so keep an eye out for that in eleven months or so.

Re: Neko's corner [=3 - 10.11]

Honestly though, she really does type atrociously loud. She also spent twice as long on the description for the drawing, as she did on the actual drawing.

Neko wants me to write another long artistic and overdramatic comment/analyzation here, but it's 6:30 AM, so I bloody well can't be bothered.

Snippet of tonight's conversation at Neko-Maya's art stream. Sithil: *Blank stare* Sithil: You took that seriously? <Anonymous>: Um. Oh,...

Re: Comic for 24-8-11

Well, this would be the first time I've ever seen anyone cook a whole ham in a frying pan. Albeit a rather small ham, but it still looks very silly to me.

I really don't have anything else to say about this page. Nothing particularly interesting seems to be happening lately.
