Ah crud. I notice a certain set of ears isn't present. Good story telling, but it still leaves some of us anxious.

My personal feelings on Trace being involved in trying to 'fix' or heal Nat' have gone from optimistic to fearful in one thought: Trace would (almost inevitably) have to "make a deal with the devil" to be able to have the precision with magic needed for such a spell. Sure, he has the power...

So what exactly is Zen trying to achieve here? He's just going to tag along with them and then what? Does he think that following them will get him to Natani? I mean that was his perfect chance of escaping, but for some reason he seems to prefer sticking with them instead of fleeing and then having...

I hope that Karen isn't too shaken by the whole "near death experience" thing, after all, in a time like this, the group needs someone who can find happiness and joy in even the roughest of situations.
