Re: Sketch of the Day

Also latest sketch: It is sad I am sure Raine would love a happy family reunion. Heck even an standard awkward family meeting would be lovely for her. But alas that was not meant to be: Her Family Reunion Hooboy, yes, this definitely turns the awkward up to eleven. I managed to catch bits of this o...

Re: Comic for November 6th, 2019: Growing Apart

Hmm, now that's interesting. Have we ever seen Zen's eyes go dull like this? It's happened to Natani a time or two, I think, but not Zen. Come to think of it, isn't this a bit like Rose's eyes before Trace lifted her restrictions? Curiouser and curiouser...

Re: Sketch of the Day

An interesting concept — and I'd say it also ties in with how well Natani's scent suppression spell works to disguise his body's true nature. There has to be at least a little non-scent difference between male and female keidran beyond the visually obvious anatomy that's hidden by his magical wrap, ...

Another older sketch Nora Carded — Tiger Embrace.

Plus another Word of Tom little snippet of tiger keidran culture.

Re: Comic For October 5, 2019: Lesson Over, Class Begun

I think Rose was controlled by something far beyond a collar. Sooner or later, we might learn just what has happened to Rose. But it's obvious that she isn't just some aging Keidran servant. She was constrained by some powerful restrictions, but she was also given special powers and abilities. <nod...

Re: Comic for September 28, 2019: Booming Success

Sounds like it would fit in either ITMA or The Goon Show. Still lost (never heard of them). They were both household-name radio programmes on the BBC; ITMA (It's That Man Again) was in the 1940s starring the comedian Tommy Handley. The Goon Show (you've really never heard of them?) was in...

Re: Comic for September 28, 2019: Booming Success

But for the future, I suppose she'd have to get clothes that can fit two different forms, I'm curious to see how that will turn out. I had a character with limited shapeshifting abilities (almost, but not quite, reliably under conscious control) who considered the elasticated waistband to be one of...

Re: Comic for September 28, 2019: Booming Success

I just realised — Rose was at least partly fibbing a little bit when she told Raine she didn't really expect her to put the collar on. Sneaky, sneaky wolfie...

Re: Comic for September 28, 2019: Booming Success

Heh — I only managed to catch the beginning of the art stream the other night, so I thought Raine had just kicked Red, like she did when he wouldn't stop stroking her tail. Had to laugh at the "...I'm okay!" bit. Now we've seen Raine handle a collar Evil!Trace himself enchanted, I'm wonder...

Re: Sketch of the Day

Well, I meant the way it got lost in translation but still sounded kinda funny. Oh, I know how that goes, even with RL languages. Way back when, I was writing something with a few characters who used bits of their birth languages (French, German, Swahili) and some phrases come out hilariously weird...

Re: Sketch of the Day

Speaking of which, an interesting joke Teal'c once told that seems to be "funny because it's nonsensical." (Bonus points to anyone who sees the Twokinds reference I planted.) "A Serpent Guard, a Horus Guard, and a Setesh Guard meet on a Neutral planet. It's a tense moment. The Serpen...

Re: Comic for September 25, 2019: Overpowering Desperation

I had to laugh at Rose in panel 2; winding Raine's mainspring even tighter. It might have been what she needed to hear, but... oohdear.

So, what's the odds of the next page showing Raine chasing Rose to the tune of Yakety Sax...?

I can't decide which we'll see going <tilt> in the next page; the collar, Raine's brain, or Red's brain.
