Re: Overwatch
Technically I got an invite to part of the closed beta as well. I played for a couple of matches, but I don't have the right skill set for this type of game.

Re: New person in the forum!
Ehhh...I go through it the slower board-by-board way, but it is nice to know that feature is there. Also, earlier this morning I found a new forum (by new I mean created within the last 5 years, although this one is less than 3 months old) that didn't default you to being subscribed (well, following...

Re: Voting Incentive for Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016
Well, at least she's wearing panties under that shear skirt. It doesn't leave much room for 'battle damage' to her wardrobe though. I have to agree with kiabugoy, the fun of the vote incentives is seeing the characters be out of character. Also, as far as Sealeen being of age here........that's anyb...

Re: WTF?
A student at my mother's high school just [censored] up the rest of his life over a dare. Kid, (man actually, he's 19) was a football player and got dared to let his junk hang out in the school yearbook group photo for the team. So he did. Aaaaaand it made it to publication. So now only after all o...

Re: Where's the Fair Use?
Well, I would've loved to have left a comment about some of the games I've played (and eventually bought) because of a review (normally in Game Informer, I don't usually go to You Tube reviews), but You Tube apparently isn't liking me right now and won't let me leave a comment. This isn't even new f...

Re: New person in the forum!
Actually, if you look in the options below the 'Save draft', 'Preview', and 'Submit' buttons the last option is 'Notify me when a reply is posted'. I've never really paid attention to whether or not it was marked because I come and check things out every day, and what I don't read I make sure gets m...

Re: Jedi Can...Draw???
It's much better than what I can draw. I can only convey the images in my head to others through words, I don't have the skills for drawing.

Re: civil war
The problem with some characters getting benched is that most directors (and many who watch as well) want to focus on a member of the cast (or a small group) as the protagonist, and thus focus on them. But what about a story that doesn't really have a protagonist? Couldn't you focus the story instea...

Re: Avatar Showcase
Nero is Dante's brother DMC always sounded awesome to me. Edgy rock, sword/gun mechanics, awesome-looking characters, and the whole "choose between Heaven and Hell with your decisions" thing. If only it wasn't dead as [censored] and I was willing to waste time playing old games Nevermind,...

Re: Lurk no more...
My best guess is something like when a movie that is supposedly set in our universe has something happen that is quite definitively in clear opposition to the rules of physics, especially when it practically throws the physics books out the window in favor of better drama. I can think of a pair of s...

@midnightblink: What are clean politics? That is a very strange term to me. At least she isn't engaged in bloody politics or body politics, although I wouldn't put either one past her if they were legal. There are a few things regarding the Clintons that I've learned of recently that make me questio...

Re: WTF?
snip Should have clarified that it isn't mine. George Takei shared a link about it. I have no idea who those poor people are, but it did happen that day. And yeah, when someone like Takei picks up the story the protesters are going to be the bad guys. Not like they needed any help with that after s...

@nsamok6620: You said the ceremony is taking place on private property? I'm taking this to mean someone's home and not a business? If so, you have just received a threatening letter (if barely threatening), take it to the cops and at the very least the protest will be restricted to happening on the ...
Re: Markers
From the things I've heard once you start messing with 'real' markers (the not for-kiddies stuff) you'll be amazed at what you can do with them. A big part of the reason why there is such a vast spread of brands around, and why there are so many price tiers.
