Re: [FWC 16] Inner demons

The next couple days had been a blur, and James could barely remember going through the motions of being the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Piecing together the information that Frankes had provided him, James ran through the points in his head. Shadowloo had wanted Spirto Acquisitions for...

Re: [FWC 16] Inner demons - Continued if you want to keep reading :)

It took James a moment to answer as the shock of hearing that his sister was alive. “Mister Frankes was it? No, I have not heard of Shadowloo. Now, I have answered your question so please tell me about my sister.” The last words were clipped as the simmering anger threatened to change this from a c...

Re: [FWC 16] Inner demons

For me it reads well. It gets you into the story fairly quickly and easily. I have a few minor quibbles though. For the description of the character (millionaire, martial artist, driven by demons and by something that happened in his childhood) you may as well have said 'Batman'. Batty's flaw is th...

Re: Fall Writing Competition 2016

As I submitted an entry into the contest, I'll remove myself from volunteering for judge duty :)
Good luck to all entrants, I see some are already well fleshed out and great reads. Hope everyone has a read of all entries.
I sure write better than I draw that is for sure...

Re: [FWC 16] Inner demons

So this was the jist of an intro to one of my old Street Fighter RPG games that we played nearly two decades ago. It was a cheesy fun combat RPG, but we all loved the characters and were fully involved with the storyline. Hope you enjoy.

[FWC 16] Inner demons

Small drops of clear liquid explode on the hardwood floors like miniature volcanic eruptions. The damp rings add even more darkness to the wood’s patina and seem to highlight the infrequent dents and nicks that have been worn into the aged planks. For a second or two the faint sound of steel scrapi...

Went for my ultra sound today  They told me that because I'm 12 weeks that they might be able to tell the gender... Congrats Moonsticks, Your first? Kids are the best and worst things to ever happen to you. Thankfully the best outweighs the worst about 5 to 1... Well at least that was the ap...

To bad that the vocaroo has a short timeframe for saving the data files. Interesting idea however.

Re: "REAL" Firearms thread (no politics please)

Cool! Mine is a 44. It didn't come with the muzzle break, just a cover for the threads. Got in a bidding war for it with who I suspect was the seller since after paying twice the starting bid there was another one for sale from the same guy, and it has been for sale for a few years now. But I'm hap...

Re: "REAL" Firearms thread (no politics please)

Say, nice avatar  Also, what barrel length did you get your Chiappa in? I went with the 5" because its proportions looked the best imo. The 4 doesn't look bad either though. http://rs1187.pbsrc.com/albums/z388/nsamok6620/Mobile%20Uploads/20160710_195642_zpshv0na7rz.jpg?w=480&h=480&am...

Brand new to TwoKinds... (OK maybe a few days)

Hey all, Greetings from Canada eh? Name's Mike, but my nom de guerre is Jarlath on pretty much everything. I'm a relatively old fool at over 40 with a great wife and 2 monster boys. I do hydraulic systems for paid work and am an instructor for action shooting and safety in my volunteer time. Let see...

New to the board, but glad to see some other firearms owners not afraid of saying wait they own.
