Glad of the break, Sammi, bolted from her quarters, leaving Rutk behind (more like than not) she ran nearly blindly, careening around corners and crashing into people as if speed would give her an escape. Stopping by the door, she walked in calmly, vainly trying to tame her hair wiht her fingers.
