All joking aside, this may be my favorite page now. I've always loved the way Keith and Natani interacted, but the genuine emotion in this page is amazing.

In addition to everything that's been mentioned, there's a fire on-panel and Eric's head isn't on fire yet.

Also, isn't he supposed to be a wanted criminal? Shouldn't his title of Duke have been revoked because of that? A Duke is a Duke, even in dungeon. Revoking the title completely would be at the discretion of the rank that granted it, in this case the King, and well, he's not around. A fact that come...

Huh. The pattern of the flames that we can see looks to me like it hit something unyielding and "splashed" off.

So I'm really hoping that it's Trace and a shield, and not Adira. Waiting another week to find out (and probably get a scene switch; maybe back to Natani?) is going to be torture.

In hindsight, I think he probably should have just released all three pages as a voting incentive and explained that he didn't have time to finish it.
