Re: Comic for March 10, 2024: Disenchanted

I seem to recall a guy named Bruce Wayne pulling a similar disappearing act, but without any magic. Phantom Stranger too, but that was totally and only magic. Eucher is somewhere in between.

Clovis, please remember the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it." If he does not remember, she :natani: will remind him quickly. :potatoes: Of course, the other option relies on how much control he has of the dragon princess :reni: :boom: .

This is where Reni breaks free and tells Clovis, "I will not be ignored!" before resuming her original size and squashing him flat, after he has returned to his original size.

How does that expression go? Never bring magic to a gun fight? It sure looks like Clovis got hit by a large calibre, high-speed projectile, so I guess Natty :natani: was the distraction while someone else found the hand-cannon. :Maddie: ?

A line from Elvis Presley's "Can’t Help Falling In Love" comes to mind.
Wise men say that only fools rush in,

Re: Comic for August 13, 2022: Off-Duty Accounts

So, now Sarah is doing a very passable River Song impersonation, except possibly for some time travelling. Mind you, River's ability to fly is much more limited, so I guess it evens out. I could definitely see Sarah getting a heavily armoured supremely racist warrior to retreat as well.

Well, this is clearly not improving the matriarch's impression of human competence.

The only thought that came to me seeing this was, "Good doggy." Even for the wolf. :sythe:

Re: Filler for October 22, 2021: Twokinds 18th Anniversary

18 Years. Wow! Way to go. Going all that time without a major hiatus either. Most of the other long running web-comics I follow have had a major hiatus from time to time to let the author catch u/ relax/get paying work done, etc. Hasn't Flora :flora: been around since the beginning? 18 years is a re...

Mrs. Nibbly? I am getting more of a vibe of Mrs. Brisby and the Tree-Rats of NIMH. Either that or she is a dragon in disguise; they seem to be able to get around that pesky Conservation of Mass principle. :squirrel:

Re: Comic for June 15, 2019: Different Lizard

The key is that the big thing is a friendly dragon and not a hungry dragon. Humans, basitins, keidran are all about the right size for food for a large preditor like that. She just has a respectful relationships with these races, so she does not see them as food.

Grammar correction in Panel 7: "No, never. It does kinda itch sometimes." or "No, never. It does kinda itches sometimes." Or is she just getting confused in her sentence construction? As for what she might not like, switch entirely to wolf and run around outside to burn off steam...

Re: reading the newspaper upside down.
Maybe Maddie is dyslexic and she started reading human documents while upside-down (hanging from the ceiling?), so she is reading it this way to stay in practice. It is a handy skill for a potential spy.

Caught the Pokemon reference in the second-to-last panel. Hopefully, he is not going to try to get his companions fighting for him in otherwise pointless battles.
