Today, I said goodbye to a lot of very good friends who I will almost assuredly never see again. It normally takes a lot to rattle me, but this one hit home pottery hard. I cried. I'll admit it.

I wish I had someone of my own, something real I could look up to. All these empty promises of jobs just waiting for me to take is not quite what I need. I need something tangible. I can't reach for the stars when all I see is a painted ceiling. I'm so alone.
