Don't see too many ways out of this for Adira. A last minute save by Trace is possible, but I don't think that he had enough time to react to our favorite kittens disappearance. I can't foresee any really good options here. Roasted kitten; roasted mommy; or both? The only wild car here potentially is Trace, but the danger there is clear enough. Someday though our hapless hero will have to confront his past, and I'm guessing the result wont be pretty.
