Re: Comic for April 25, 2021: Clovis vs. Reni

And in spite of everything, Clovis is STILL protecting Brutus. Notice how the fire lines completely bent around him / his corpse. That may have more to do with chance/where he happened to be standing when the fireball hit than actively trying to protect him. Equally plausible. I am gonna go with Cl...

Re: Comic for April 14, 2021: No Hard Feelings

Everyone rightfully mentions that Brutus knowingly worked for a pretty bad person. But, for me at least, I think the fact that Brutus was so endearingly dumb and clueless when weighed against what he did (and who he worked for), that he comes across as being much more innocent. I think there's also...

Ahem, the old forum is archived here http://twokindscomic.com/ArchiveForum/ and goes back to 2004, at least.

Re: Comic for April 14, 2021: No Hard Feelings

It really just makes clear the twisted logic is utterly insane. Does Clovis really believe that since childhood he planned to use Brutus as a worthless pawn? What at that age could have possibly made him convinced that caring about anyone would be an unacceptable liability because adversary might.....

Re: Comic for April 14, 2021: No Hard Feelings

This little revelation that Clovis and Brutus were around each other long before Clovis' ascension to criminal kingpin really does change just how significant the murder is. Killing a completely loyal underling is one thing, but a childhood friend? In a way, it's reassuring to see that he's despera...

Re: Comic for March 27, 2021: Follow that Squirrel

Regardless, Nibs isn’t being dumb, since she’s shown herself to be very capable in battle. And we really don’t know what stage the battle’s at right now since the various scenes are overlapping in time. Respectfully, she survived a fireball and then spooked Remus enough that he didn't realize he wa...

Re: Comic for March 27, 2021: Follow that Squirrel

My bet on where Nibs is leading Sythe. To Zen! And conveniently with a handful of mana crystals, I think. With Clovis downstairs and one of the twins down, if not dead, there aren't a lot of other interactions upstairs that aren't "deal with the other twin", "meet up with the beach p...

Re: Comic for March 24, 2021: Seeing Things

Well, we know her grandmother was human and the king's daughter. But in human terms that was apparently "many, many generations". ( See last two panels ) But we don't know how long grandmother's kid (half-dragon) lived before having Reni (by whatever means is applicable to dragons). We al...

Re: Comic for March 24, 2021: Seeing Things

New theory. We are really never gonna find out what nibs is. We will periodically be reminded that nibs is no squirrel 🐿️ but we are never gonna have any confirmation on what she truly is. The story is gonna wrap up with i nice little bow but we will all left wondering: What was nibs exactly? Then ...

Re: Comic for March 24, 2021: Seeing Things

Perhaps I'm stubborn... but I'm not convinced she's a dragon still. Her black form with yellow eyes is similar to the dark figure on chapter cover 848 https://twokinds.keenspot.com/comic/848/ I didn't buy it until this page. In the previous page, you can clearly see that Nibs' right ear was smoulde...

Re: Comic for March 20, 2021: Remus' Downfall

For those who are suggesting that Nibs is a dragon- who in this world wouldn't recognize a dragon? It's technically possible that Tom would pull a small trick by having Nibs change into a different form, I suppose, but personally I don't think it matches Tom's style. Reni would surely recognize a d...

Re: Comic for March 20, 2021: Remus' Downfall

No, the thud happened before he fell. The thud caused him to fall and break the railing he was clutching at. That is a seriously strong thud. Looking at it a few times, I think you're right. But I'm still prepared for Nibbly to be an ordinary squirrel. The thud, and Remus' surprise, could be a ston...

Re: Comic For March 18, 2021: Remus Revenge

Am I the only one whose first thought was simply that the fireball compromised the integrity of the floor, it is going to collapse and he is going to fall to his death? This being why everything is shaking in the second last panel. I thought that was supposed to be Sythe's blurred vision from his i...

Re: Comic for March 3rd, 2021: The Wolf's Jewels

Going from the previous page to this one, did he change from speaking keidran to human (speech balloons missing the <>)? I don't think so. Long ago, in times since passed... *snerk* Sorry, had to. ..I'm tired.. There were times when Tom would forego the brackets when each of the characters on-scene...
