Re: Power saving mode causes connection issues

Also there is an option in Power Plan>Power Saving>Advanced Power Management for wifi, set it to the "maximum performance" level (or something like that, depends on what OS you're running).

Re: GREXIT

Another thing I think is interesting about the Grexit is that it's been discouraging other EU countries from fully adopting the Euro, for fear of ending up in this mire themselves. I read an article about Poland, who've been dragging their feet on adopting the Euro anyway, viewing this as a good re...

Re: Panel Shuffle

It's not a penny if it doesn't have Lincoln's face on it. Canada has pennies too, and I'm sure they don't use the face of one of our dead presidents on their coin. 'Penny' is just implying that it's the lowest value of coin possible. It's a broad term. Not anymore. Canada removed the penny from cir...

Re: GREXIT

EU allowed them to join because they hoped for $$$ from international tourism. It was a bad decision, but hey - there were other corrupt countries that joined EU and didn't go bankrupt, in fact, some of them got better. Maybe not perfect, but better. They COULD get out of this, but they don't want t...

Witcher III. I was seriously worried my laptop would not run it when I got it, but it did! A 780M does really well as long as I keep HairWorks off. And it's a damn good game, I have to say.

Re: GREXIT

Well, since we know the referendum results we can now assume it already is happening. I mean people have way too many economical privileges (ex. The government will pay you 10% of your base pay if you claim to speak a foreign language, another 10% if your work is mostly done in front of a computer. ...

Re: QUESTION THREAD!

Free, and for watching? Proxies, forget about it. Free proxies are way too slow for that, they usually block media streams. The only free solution I am aware of are VPNs (Virtual Private Network). The ones I've used are: -Expat Shield (it gives you a British IP address), and stuffs your websites wit...

Re: Driverless Cars

But what about in other situations where the computer doesn't register/interpret something correctly? Or what about something the programmers of the car didn't account for (something like falling objects)? That's not how steering systems for cars are created. It's like trying to write a program tha...

Re: Driverless Cars

At the very least, these new lines of cars should at least include a manual override of some sort. That is not as good as you think... Imagine a situation like this: The car is travelling at 70km/h on a country road. There are trees on both sides. Suddenly, one of the tyres explodes after encounter...
