I don't think it's the mask. When this smoke monster evil thing appears, the bottom of Trace's eyes are red. I feel like it really is the past/evil side of him.

Although I guess that could also be a reflection of the fire? I dunno.

I just wish Trace and Flora, the MAIN characters in the story got half as much development as Natani. I can't disagree with that. As much as I love Natani, it sure would be nice to have some more depth to Trace and Flora. Flora in particular is still awfully similar to an orange-and-black-striped c...
