well, you seem to have proportions roughly where they need to be, in one sketch, the head looks a little big, but your character remains close in each sketch, a hard thing to do. The way i sketch if I rough out where I want each part of my character to be, and slowly refine it in, finishing up with ...

Thanks, I just rough out what i want in pencil and use my trusty clay ball of an eraser to trim it up and then ink it with microns. When I add the ink outline, it cleans it up so much, and the detail seems to pop out a little more. however, after looking at you stuff, I realize I'm but an amateur :P...
