Re: USA Presidental Campaingn 2016

Just wanted to post some thoughts as an observing Canadian... I was really inspired by Bernie Sander's principles and plans, and was utterly dismayed for such a lacklustre candidate as Hillary to take the nomination. I've long felt that the American two-party system is flawed, and have learned in my...

For those who haven't seen it, the E3 footage of Skyrim was AWESOME

Re: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

Can I just say this is most definitely the game I've looked forward to the most since . . . well, I guess it was Oblivion! Anyone seen the e3 footage?

Re: Halo Reach

I still pick up this game a couple times a week for a couple matches, it's really fun, but I find it only holds my attention for about an hour unless I'm playing with friends.

I seemed to breeze through Brigadier, I'm up to General Grade 1 already, and still maintaining a 1.7 k/d! ^_^

Re: HALO FROM E3! YES!

I'm stoked to play Halo CEA, provided the game isn't altered too much at the core. Also, the $40 price tag makes the nagging voice in my head telling me I'm buying a game I already own go away! Halo 4, on the other hand, I could care less about. Halo always has been and always will be Bungie's game,...

Re: Canadian 2011 Election

It is an odd system I have to admit. Where one party with less then 50% of the votes can rule unquestioned but that's how it is in good old Canada. Personally I think we should adopt a system in which 50% of the seats in Parliament are decided by FPTP, and 50% by proportional representation. Also, ...

Re: Canadian 2011 Election

1) Despite being the first government to prorogue parliament twice, and being the only government in Canadian history to be found in contempt of parliament, the Conservatives won the 2011 election with far more votes than the 2008 election, enough to give them a majority government. Last time I che...

Canadian 2011 Election

While the last few results are trickling in, the results of the election are more or less certain: Conservatives: 166/308 (54%) seats, 40% popular vote NDP: 104/308 (33%) seats, 31% popular vote Liberals: 34/308 (11%) seats, 19% popular vote Bloc Quebecois: 3/308 seats, 6% popular vote Green: 1/308 ...

Re: What political party are you part of?

(as evidenced by Canada failing to be elected for the UN security council, a secret ballot by the general assembly, of which we have been elected six times in a row) Seriously, thats all kinds of BS. The European Union just wanted member states into the security council. Considering how Portugal is...

Re: What political party are you part of?

Well I'm gonna go ahead and talk about my political affiliations, but keep in mind the parties themselves are from Canada  I have a hard time choosing between the NDP and Liberal party, I find myself in favor of a more regulated market economy with socialist elements, though in terms of civil ...

Re: Libya

The problem with Libya is this: are the rebels really rebels ( in the sense of regular people tired of being abused) or terrorists pretending to be rebels? Or, are terrorists pretending to back the rebels in an attempt to keep Morimar in power? I WISH I knew, and would love to see the intelligence ...
