Could you drill the glue out of the hole enough to put in a dot of fresh glue and slide the mast part back in? Ya know, Alaric still hasn't told Keith about the scar on his eye. I don't think Alaric's time is up yet, at least not till that story is told. Perhaps he dies in Keith's arms after the bridge collapses?
