Re: Any good read lately?

I just finished reading the Ravenor Omnibus by Dan Abnett. I'm still not sure whether or not I liked it more than the Eisenhorn series by the same author or not, but it was a pretty awesome read. The ending was kind of abrupt, though; it kind of struck me like a Pratchett novel, where the author see...

I don't really know; our scanner's barely running correctly most of the time, so I've never really messed with the settings much.

I just kinda drew the lines in different directions for different colours; I'm not exactly sure on how it worked out so well, either.

and by that Sebbie does not mean take off more of her clothes. Still, you're very good. So, you know, MOAR. Oh don't worry, I'm not very big on doodlin' nudity. I felt uncomfortable showing that much skin. Anyways, here's some other pictures I uploaded last night: http://buddha-fett.deviantart.com/...

Not quite dead yet; Buddha's doodlin' thread.

After quite a long absence (mostly spent lurking or working on my accounting homework), I've decided to start another thread for some of the pictures I've been working on. As with the last thread, I appreciate any feedback you're all willing to give; I can't readily improve without knowing what to w...

Re: Dragon Age

I've been following this game for a little while now, ever since I heard that it was going to be pretty much Neverwinter Nights without all that Forgotten Realms nonsense. Sadly, I lack the money to buy it at the moment, but I've been looking around the internet for a little while, and I'm glad to s...

Re: Comic 11/4/09

I've gotta say, that was a pretty epic way to end the chapter.

I really hope the next comic gets posted soon; I'm excited to see where Tom takes it from here.

Re: Any good read lately?

I just recently finished reading the 'Caiphas Cain: Hero of the Imperium' omnibus, and I've gotta say, it was a very fun book.

For such a dark setting, they managed to put in a lot of humor; they footnotes reminded me of Pratchett, which is always a good thing.

Re: Dawn of War II

I've been looking forward to this for a long time now; I was getting worried that they weren't planning on releasing it!

Also, there seems to be another 40k game in the works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbjbbzOrCIg
It looks pretty fun, too!

Re: Fable 2

I had a lot of fun with this game for awhile there; sadly, it felt too half-finished. Lots of good ideas and combat mechanics, though.

Re: The World Ends With You

I absolutely fell in love with this game right from the start. Actually, I didn't finally put it down until about a month ago.

Very fun, lots of cool ideas/game mechanics, and artwork from Nomura that isn't entirely belts and zippers covering every surface!

10 out of 10, in my book.

Re: Gears of War 2

To tell you the truth, I've never really been able to get behind this game. Now, right off the bat, I'm not much of a shooter fan. I loves me some RPGs and RTSs, so that's one point right there. Secondly, it feels to me like this game is trying too hard. I get the vibe that it's trying to be all 'br...
