What happens if you open the screen with the first command, send your information, then send the command sequence to detach the screen? (Usually Ctrl-A, D.) Not too sure if it'll work - don't have any experience with passing escape sequences through a pipe honestly. I don't know what I am doing wro...

Re: QUESTION THREAD!

And I'm seriously trying. I've spent nearly all day trying to find help, but either nobody wants to get L4D working, or the...

Re: QUESTION THREAD!
I have a program lying around on my hdd which fix this little authentication problem, but it isn't actual legal, since it just cracks the WGA (windows genue advanced) program making it think it's legal. So I can't post it here. The only legal way around the problem is the one windows suggests you to...

Now, the reason I eliminated EXT2 from my choices is the fact that you always seem to have to run FSCK on it - Especially as I don't expect things to be 100% stable, at least not for a while. The problem with EXT3 is that there is no journal...

Re: Linux
Hi all. I am planning on talking a blank 640GB harddisk and creating a fairly complex partition scheme on it. I am looking at four partitions: One, fairly small <1gb partition which will have GRUB on it, as well as some diagnostics & recoveries tools(so I can format the windows/linux portions w...
