Re: QUESTION THREAD!

If it's not to much trouble you can try to install Ubuntu 8.10 adn try it on that.
I do remember one of my friend being able to play L4D on wine fine.

Re: Linux

What happens if you open the screen with the first command, send your information, then send the command sequence to detach the screen? (Usually Ctrl-A, D.) Not too sure if it'll work - don't have any experience with passing escape sequences through a pipe honestly. I don't know what I am doing wro...

And I'm seriously trying. I've spent nearly all day trying to find help, but either nobody wants to get L4D working, or the...

Re: QUESTION THREAD!

I have a program lying around on my hdd which fix this little authentication problem, but it isn't actual legal, since it just cracks the WGA (windows genue advanced) program making it think it's legal. So I can't post it here. The only legal way around the problem is the one windows suggests you to...

Re: Linux

I have used that driver before, and it has worked for me. Now, the reason I eliminated EXT2 from my choices is the fact that you always seem to have to run FSCK on it - Especially as I don't expect things to be 100% stable, at least not for a while. The problem with EXT3 is that there is no journal...
