Re: Comic for August 10, 2019: Mind Manipulation

I had one more thought on Maddie's reaction. Do (Eastern) basitins ever go to the beach for anything more than fishing or launching/landing boats... like sunbathing and swimming? Probably not for leisure. Leisure doesn't seem to be a concept for Eastern Basitins. They probably patrol the beaches an...

Is everyone ready for a beach episode? Because I'm sensing a beach episode in the future.

Re: Comic for July 27, 2019: Flawed Recollection

This is a properly unpleasant page for me, both because I think it's halfway evoking some earlier memory of a really visceral instance of the same [censored]/nosebleed trope from some other piece of media I've seen that was very eeeeugh, (ironically, I can't seem to place it :p), and because the fa...

Re: Comic for July 27, 2019: Flawed Recollection

Remembering that that wing of the mansion was blocked off by perception scrambling magic whatever Maddie saw was damning enough to warrant being placed behind three separate layers of protection by Trace in his prime. Or that it was so bizarre and alien to a basitin mind that Maddie couldn't compre...

Re: Comic for June 15, 2019: Different Lizard

The dragons in the Twokinds universe have been distinctly separate from their tabletop counterparts, much to the benefit of the cast.

It's funny how just a little bit of booze can change all that ;).

Re: Comic for April 27, 2019: Rose and Raine

We've been speculating for a long time about how Rose was able to live for as long as she has. Given what Tom has already said about perfect transformations I think we now have our answer. Rose has been using her human form to extend her natural lifespan significantly.

Re: Comic for March 9th, 2019: Roselyn's Spider-Web

There is also the fact that that shadow doesn't have wolf ears. Ears can be down and hidden in the hairs . Or remember time has passed since the old Trace has trapped the victim in there ; enough time for wolf ears to be rotten ............. X_X I knew someone was going to say that...…… But hidden ...

Been a while, but I for one am fully invested in this new question of that exactly is that thing in the forbidden room. This conversation is veering into Warhammer 40K territories and I can't help but enjoy all this new speculaaaaation.

Re: Sketch of the Day

Today, we see Chimera Meeting the Group , and some hints at both her origins and Trace's former actions... But did he actually create her? Indirectly, the Templars are responsible for her creation. It's unknown if Trace had any direct involvement. I'm a few days late but I'm cackling over Vixen Kei...

Am I the only one noticing the strange lighting at Karen's dead end? The shadows on the floor indicate light sources around the corners of that missing intersection beyond the wall. There is a lamp above the door being protected by the guardian :laura: Tells me that the lantern itself is important....

Re: Comic for December 8th, 2018: Seeing Behind the Curtain

I don't know why, but I love the way Karen's eyes are (well, at least the one we can see is) bugged out in fear in the first panel. Maybe it's because I'm mentally deranged. Anyway, is it just me, or does the hallway look too smooth/simple (if that makes any sense)? I am for some reason reminded of...

Re: Violet Evergarden

I'm right with you there on her portrayal as a child super-soldier, it just seems like an excuse for Kyoto Animation to show off that they can do fight choreography in addition to lovingly crafting everything else. It was entirely possible to portray her as a highly efficient engine of warfare in t...
