Re: Rant/Vent/sad thread
Work. Been pretty ok with the whole lockdown thing as an introvert. Work support for technical issues is iffy which can make actually accomplishing certain things frustrating.

Re: Rant/Vent/sad thread
I'm on a diet, that I've forced myself onto, but I keep slipping up in small ways when I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing. Angry and disappointed in myself. But I guess that's okay, because tomorrow I can try again. As long as I keep going. Also, I didn't expect a thread of mine from 2008 to...

Re: What made you smile today? Round 2!
Maybe rehashing from another post, but apparently a thread of mine is still going after several years. I'm waiting for the results of my application for an internal position at my job which opened up. And just now the position slighterly higher than that opened up too. And the boss in charge has bee...

Re: Rant/Vent/sad thread
I keep losing track of my goals when working towards them. Whining internally about small things and almost always givig up. Someone suggested following some kind of assertiveness course, (so do help apparently). But I went through that when I was 11. Then I started acting like a [censored] towards ...

Re: The Official Coming and Going Thread
I had reverted to my lurker ways and my access to a stable connection has been sketchy.
Months later, I have a steady job and my own place. Gonna try to be a bit more active, but I'll see how long I can keep it up.

A single drop
When will it stop?
Chilling rain on the skin
a sweat bead on the flesh
So many stories to be tell
about a drop of water that fell
people take shelter
then they shower
A single bead of dew
or a mountain capped in snow
There is still so much to know
A single drop
Will it ever stop?

Re: Sister
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try and work on it. Funny things is, two years ago someone told me my sentences were too long. xD
I used way too many comma's.

Sister 5: Fireworks "Felleni, You should go to bed, your eyes are acting funny.." Yanu said teasingly to his sister. "No, I want to stay up and see the festival." came the whiny response. The sixteen year old shifted on the hay roof. "Hey keep your head down, sis! They migh...

Sister 3: A helpful watcher The man looked from the top of the tower down to the melee Palu and Dorem were involved in. he had ascended the tower and found the two at the top. Just the moment he could get their attention, Dorem had grabbed Palu and jumped. The man knew he should have jumped after t...

Sister 1: Palu's battle Afraid to begin. That's how he felt. He checked if his sword hadn't somehow disappeared from his belt. It hadn't, good. It felt reassuring. he would be depending on this this. It felt odd, entrusting yourself to something. Shouts in the distance drew his attention. The attac...

I named my project for Last year's Nanowrimo: Sister. I admitted defeat after spending too much time on the fleshing out of the world and the last day passed. My one point of pride for my first time of Nanowrimo was that officially I failed. But when I counted my work for Nanowrimo together with the...

around 25% belgian, 25 % Dutch, 25% English and the last quarter is Irish, Spanish, German, French, Polish. My last name supposedly means "riverspring in the forest" in Gaelic. I do know that atleast 3 towns in the world are called the same as my last name. And my ancestors were granted a ...
